Statement by Governor Jan Brewer Regarding Today's US Supreme Court Ruling

“We understand that the court has lifted the stay of the injunction against matching funds until they decide whether they are going to hear the full case.  It is extremely unusual for the judicial branch to change the rules of an election while it is being held.  This precedent by the Supreme Court is terribly troubling and we hope they will reconsider and allow matching funds for this election that is already underway.”
