Tucson Republican Women's Club Endorse Governor Brewer

TUCSON ---July 26, 2010: At the July General Meeting of the Membership of Tucson Republican Women’s Club, by unanimous consent, Members voted to endorse the candidacy of Janice K. Brewer for Governor.

“I, along with our Members, give our full support to Governor Brewer as she seeks election in the August Primary and November General Election”, said TRW’s President, Linda White.  She continued, “Governor Brewer has shown leadership, courage and vision confronting the issues facing Arizona. We applaud the Governor’s unwavering commitment to attract business to our state, fight Obamacare, reduce the size of government and defend SB1070.  Our Members have pledged their time and talents to ensure a Brewer victory”. 

Tucson Republican Women is the largest Republican Women’s club in Pima County. Organized in 1984, TRW Members support, volunteer for and promote the candidacies of Republicans running statewide and locally. TRW has awarded several scholarships to Republican women to assist their continuing education as well as support various charities, organizations and literacy programs.
